Request the roles your production needs

Specify camera operators, sound recording, lighting or production support, along with the dates and expected hours. If you already have a director, producer or technical lead, identify them in the request. Clear responsibilities make it easier to match the proposed crew to an established production.

Crew only or crew with equipment

Say whether people will operate your package or bring equipment. Include camera system, lenses, resolution, frame rate, audio and lighting requirements where those are already set. If an alternative package is acceptable, explain which parts of the specification are essential.

Keep local and remote teams connected

For a Beijing shoot directed by an overseas or remote producer, agree who approves the camera setup and how they will see it. Share the creative references and contributor schedule before the day. A named on-site contact can resolve access and room questions while your producer concentrates on the content.

Define the handover before wrap

Include time and responsibility for media copying, checks and transfer. Tell us whether you need original camera files, separate audio, proxy files or a particular folder structure. Agree equipment returns, the production contact at wrap and how any extension to the day will be approved.
